We are seeking a shelter/rescue savvy person who also happens to know how to be a treasurer. The best candidate will have a working knowledge of QuickBooks, budgets, annual state and federal filings, and will be able to keep tabs on the billing status of the animals for which we fund medical treatment.
This is a governing/voting position on our board of directors.
FLCAS is in search of a new leader! We need someone who can take what we have started and grow it into the strong organization we know it can be.
The right person will know how to develop a nonprofit, have experience with fundraising, and have the ability to draw in enthusiastic, talented people who are eager to raise the funds that will help the shelter care for the county's homeless pets.
Be a hero for animals!
We are looking for an enthusiastic person to keep us active at community events and develop relationships with local businesses that would like to host us for fundraising opportunities and/or donate to our cause.
FLCAS has been active for a little over a year, and in that time we have been successful in raising funds to provide medical care for over 20 animals. Our part in their care not only brought them relief and healing, but made them more adoptable so they were able to find homes. It's difficult for the shelter to place pets who need expensive medical care, and when we remove that burden from potential adopters, everyone wins!
This is a key position within our organization, and you will work closely with the Board of Directors to help us flourish and grow. You will get to be the person who puts the "fun" into fundraising!
If you'd like to join us in this role, please send us an email using the contact form, and we'll be in touch just as soon as we can!
